It is extremely impressive to observe that, in the XXI century, this matter remains so controversial! We have extreme difficulty in facing our body naturally, perhaps because society and the media, whether television or magazines, have sexualized it so much. Our naked body has become something offensive, aggressive, scandalous, and even immoral!
But leaving the controversy aside, I want to
address the issue in another way.
Our body is something of incomparable beauty
and perfection. As Divine creations that we are, we are talking about organic
machines of extreme precision, of several integrated systems that work together
for the purpose of sustaining life. They are the circulatory, respiratory,
digestive, nervous and filtering systems, all organized by a central system of
ultra sophisticated intelligence. As
Gods that we are, we should not expect anything less, but perfection!
But why do we not appreciate it? Why cannot we
love, accept and even idolize our bodies?
Gosh! There
he comes again with that word: Love!!!!
Yeah, Love. We are this, I have said this in previous
texts. Energy called Love. But no one is really able to love their
bodies. No one!!!
What do you mean, no one?! And those people who
are always working out to have a healthy and fit body? And the fashion mannequins? The models that are so successful?
I can assure you, they do not know how to love
their bodies!!!
There is a simple problem that affects not only
those who live to maintain physical beauty, but also those who do not care
about their bodies. They all have one
big problem in common: they live their lives seeking Love externally.
Let us return to the great teaching of our
great Master Jesus: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." No one could ever understand the second part
of that phrase! Everyone completely
ignored the second part of the sentence. They only cared about loving their neighbor,
and they never considered themselves to be deserving of having Love!
Even those who think they have learned their
lesson cannot really love themselves.
What do you mean?!
Let's go back to the example of the hammering
staff, who gives a damn hard work to maintain a physical form following the
standards of beauty preached by society.
Did you notice the problem? They
do not make them beautiful to please themselves! They become beautiful to please society, with
the goal of fitting into a pattern of beauty, often completely insane, as is
the case of catwalk mannequins, which end up being anorexic, sick creatures! And in the case of the slave-owning staff of
the gym, working out often more than twice a day, they follow standards of
beauty that push the body to the limit of its endurance, in an insane war
against body fat, increasing muscle mass infinitely. A lot of people already died of this! And they are considered to love their bodies?!
All in the name of "Love", of the
admiration and approval of society!
Let us now turn to the opposite example, of
those who do not care for fitness. Obesity
is often given up because of amorous disappointments, or because they have lost
their jobs, or some other disappointment. Except, of course, those cases of hormonal
imbalance, many people destroy their bodies by living their lives seeking Love externally.
And when they decide to recover their
bodies from the damage caused, it is often too late! They need gastric surgery
and other devices to help them lose weight. But they will still be unhappy with their
bodies!
And what about the sexual promiscuous people,
who are always running away from Love as a feeling? They also do not love their bodies, otherwise
they would not be promiscuous! They are
beautiful, seductive, "well settled," and live their life in their
own way. These people also seek Love
externally, but in this case they use sex as a drug, an escape from themselves,
to try to forget the emptiness of their lives by ignoring themselves, because
they do not find the true Love that is within themselves. External love, for
them, translates into fame, vanity. Or would you rather think that a person who
allows himself to be sexually invaded by anyone, has true love for his body?! Let it be clear that this applies for both men
and women!
Our body is our temple, our sanctuary. And we,
as incarnate spirits, are its chief inhabitants, its priests, and we must treat
it with all respect, true Love and Idolatry. We should take good care of where
we live, even temporarily.
Why don't we learn to love our bodies? Why don't we learn to admire our body, even
feel horny for it? We all have the two
polarities, Masculine and Feminine, in our spirit. A spirit can inhabit a man's body or a woman's
body. What will define which will be
formed is our incarnation plan. So we
all have a "homosexual" portion within. I know that many will not agree with this
idea, but I'm not saying that everyone should try to relate sexually to someone
of the same sex, but rather start seeing their own body with a new perspective.
Observe the beauty of our genitals, of
our arms, abdomen, legs, hands, feet, just the way they are, without any
exceptions.
We must learn to seek everything internally,
not externally. God is within each one
of us, so it is within us that we will find all the Love, warmth, peace and
happiness that we need. We can develop
the ability to enjoy our body, with all its anatomical details. If we have to exercise, we must do it to
maintain our health! If we have to feed
ourselves, let it be the right measure of what we need for our day to day
needs! And if it is to feel horny, let
it be by itself. Enjoy your nudity in
your moments of intimacy, inside your home. Love yourself! But really love yourself, exploring the full
extent of your body. Open yourself to
feel along the extension of your entire skin. You will discover that there is much to be
explored sexually, and this will broaden your range of pleasure and your sexual
enjoyment, when you feel like sharing it with someone who truly loves you.
Love yourself,
and you will see that you will no longer be the victim of many disappointments,
and even of society, with its insane standards. Discover yourself! For in loving yourself, believe me: You will
be loving God!
