The aspects of manipulation of society used by the powerful are so wide and numerous that it will not be possible to address all of them, but I intend at least to address the main questions about sexuality.  We have already talked about the manipulation by money, and we have already talked a little bit about manipulation by religion.  Now I intend to address an aspect that perhaps goes unnoticed by many, but it is perhaps one of the main means of manipulation of the mass population: Technology.

It all started with manipulation by radio, which for many years was the main and only means of transmitting news.  According to information provided by Wikipedia, "The beginning of radio history was marked by radio broadcasts, with the transception being used almost at the same time.  Some consider that the world's first radio broadcast was held in 1906 in the United States by Lee de Forest experimentally to test the triode valve.  The first broadcasts for regular entertainment began in 1920 in Argentina and in the United States." History aside, the truth is that there began the process of mental manipulation of all who were fascinated by the possibility of keeping themselves informed of everything that happened around the world.

But the holders of this technology would not only use this to spread the truth and truly disseminate information, they would also use it to spread lies, fictitious stories, distorted stories, even for entertainment.  It was in 1938 that a young man named "Orson Welles" would cause panic in the population living on the West Coast of the United States, staging the transmission of a possible invasion of the world by Martians who would be decimating the entire population.  All because of a fight for audience among competing broadcasters, but at that time it was proven that it was possible to manipulate the masses through radio broadcasts.

From the 30's onwards, it was not only audio, but also moving images would be broadcasted on television.  But it was only after World War II, with all the rapid technological developments that took place at that time, that TV sets became a hit, although still at high costs and with little variety of channels available.  But still, the ability to manipulate increased even more, because you could now rely on pictures showing what was happening on the spot.  Not always real events, by the way!

Until then, pornographic productions, showing real live sex in motion, were confined to movie films, and only people of great financial resources could count on these shows, already considered obscene!

It was only with the advent of videotape that things changed, and pornography began to be disseminated on a large scale, by the end of the 1970s.

It all started with the sexual revolution of the 1960s, when people decided to explore their sexuality more freely, all thanks to the Hippie movement of that era that led to many "awakenings", although at the cost of a lot of hallucinogenic drugs.

Regardless of the Hippie movement and its consequences, with the pornographic revolution started along with the advent of videotape, a process of direct manipulation of human sexuality began, since the families did not admit to talk about the subject for religious purposes.

Adolescents, anxious to know what to do with the hormonal explosion they suffered, had to explore the erotic and pornographic magazines and the videotape pornography to know how they should relate sexually.  Parents only knew how to impose fear, talking about sexually transmitted diseases, and that sex should only be practiced after marriage.  The girls were required to get married being still a virgin, but men could experience the delights of sex with the sex pros of that time.  

This hypocrisy has come a long way, as you can see!

But due to a lack of information from sources considered "more reliable," pornography has established its presence in this scenario of sexual oppression by families and the church.

And in this universe, Technology continued to develop at a frightening speed, because then came computers, DVD players, cell phones, and it is clear that the pornographic industry, always attuned to all this technological revolution, took advantage of this, often setting new patterns of content distribution and influence, helping the technology to develop further and increase the level of overall mind control.

All this easy access that was created to all this pornographic material produced by the Industry had serious direct consequences on human sexuality.

The first and most worrying is the access of pre-adolescents who have barely left the stage of childhood, who still had their bodies still immature and malformed, indulging in careless and irresponsible sexual practices, purely and simply with the thirst of discovering the pleasures that are shown in the images that they easily get on their cell phones, devices that are delivered in their hands without any control at all.  The direct consequence of this matter are children who get pregnant in their early ages, without the least preparation to face the experience of motherhood, happening in astronomical quantities.

The second aspect is linked to the dissemination of promiscuity as a way of life, with the complete exclusion of the feeling of love from these sexual relationships, which became mechanical and cold for the pure satisfaction of a necessity, a primary biological instinct.  Sex is reduced to a primitive instinct, where everybody gets sexually related like animals in heat.  They seek relationships through the pure pursuit of material pleasure, which after being satisfied, these partners follow as if nothing had ever happened, completely ignoring the direct intimate connection that occurs at the energetic level between them.  And through the accumulation of these bonds between them, such an imbalance in their reproductive energies reaches the point where the person practically loses its own personality, and over time this produces a feeling of enormous emptiness that will lead the person to a deep depression, which consequently can lead to suicide, or to the continuous use of drugs, alcohol, among other narcotics that can lead to the complete destruction of the Being, or death.

There are still those who, not being satisfied with the simple relief promoted by conventional sex, no longer feel that this "drug" called sex leads to satisfaction, then seeking satisfaction in more extreme and bizarre ways of satisfying their thirst for pleasure, forms that cause him humiliation, wounds, degradation, something stronger that gives him harder and more radical emotions.  Some may also call for a sadism so extreme that it can cause death for themselves or for their victim.  Needless to say, this is also induced by certain types of video clips that are spread across the network!  All in the name of the sexual entertainment, more and more daring and spectacular.

And there is also the other extreme of this technological control provided by the Internet, where people no longer meet themselves to have sexual relationships, due to the possibility of getting infected by venereal diseases, and get sexually related in a virtual way, or in the acquired addiction of watching hours and hours of pornography, or in the virtual chat where the participants exchange intimate confidences, having the visualization or not with each other, making use of webcams or the camera present in their cell phones to show each other, in an assisted masturbation at a distance.  Some even make use of certain devices where the person at the other end of the network can control the vibration of these devices, giving the other person the power to control their masturbation at a distance, causing as many orgasms as he/she would want to provide to that person.

How far will we still be controlled by technology?  Until when will we allow this?  It is about time to wake up to our spiritual reality and self-knowledge of ourselves as spiritual beings possessing a body, not the other way around!  It is time to take control of our lives, not let ourselves be controlled by outside technologies.  Our personal biological technology can provide us with much more than what is shown to us in the media, but this will only be discovered if we turn to ourselves, seeking a re-connection with our Higher Self, our natural divinity.

Sex is Divine, it is our nature, but we cannot deny that it is also of our nature the energy of Love that surrounds us, that keeps us alive, that connects us, which in addition gives us the bodies we use to interact!  Discover yourself, first, as a self-contained Divine being, seek to love yourself first, to love your body, to interact with it.  Then find someone with whom you have affinities, with energy as good as yours to exchange pleasure with each other.

We need to get in touch with each other.  But we need to take control of ourselves first, so we can love ourselves and be able to love others.
